Provision of safe living space for all disabled women who register to live in our shelter. Sakan – e – Sheza is a home, where the individuals are given dorm-rooms to comfortably stay for as long as they desire. We aim to build an independent and sustainable community where all residents will be granted a respective space and basic needs shall be cared for.
All our residents will be provided with a healthy balanced diet for all meals to ensure they live a fit and flourishing life. Nourishments are very important for all humans and we intend to facilitate all specific requirements of each resident by providing them with sufficient options as per their need. This includes facilitating dietary specifications and ensuring a healthy lifestyle for all individuals.
Nutritional Care
Healthcare & Nursing
This involves provision of medical assistance to the individuals and maintaining the health related necessities by administering their medical conditions, monitoring their physical fitness and providing them with nurses to care for them everyday, especially during medical emergencies. A disabled person requires assistance and physical support which will be taken care of at all times to enable them to live an independent life and let them fly.
Our rehabilitation services focus on assisting the residents to gain physical fitness and wellness to strengthen their abilities. A variety of physical activities have been designed especially for our residents to keep them active and maintain their flexibility and fitness. We have a team of trained physiotherapists and other professionals onboard to assist the residents with their daily physical exercise routine. Moreover, a series of events are arranged periodically to enable the residents participation in sports like a Disabled Sports Day, in order to promote physical wellbeing and improve independence while enhancing their journey towards optimal quality of life.
Rehabilitation
Emotional Wellbeing
We aim to improve and foster the emotional state and mental wellbeing of all individuals as we understand the importance of mental wellbeing and we believe the disabled women are deprived of basic emotional support, hence, it is recognized as a priority. Our team includes trained psychologists and counselors to assist the residents with their problems and provide guidelines for stress coping mechanisms. We believe in developing a positive and supportive environment to help all individuals fight and overcome their mental or emotional fears and thrive for emotional stability and growth.
