Who We Are
Sakan-e-Sheza is a registered NGO and shelter home dedicated to disabled and specially-abled women in Karachi, Pakistan. We provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, experienced professionals, and specialised individual care in a supportive, inclusive community environment.
Our founder, Erum Saaim, established this home with a simple but powerful belief: every woman deserves to live with full dignity and independence, regardless of her physical or mental condition. That belief drives everything we do.
Our Purpose
"If you can't believe in miracles,
then believe in yourself."
Developing and empowering disabled women to achieve independence with robust physical and mental wellbeing, while fostering empathic community bonds within themselves.
Sakan-e-Sheza is the hope to enlighten the future for disabled women — structuring a secure, lively, and supportive environment that helps them achieve and fulfil their dreams.
Addressing societal gaps in rehabilitation services for vulnerable disabled women — providing freedom and independence for normal living with complete dignity and self-respect.
